Code of conduct addition
Amiprox GmbH has established, reviewed and approved a Code of Conduct. It describes how we deal with each other, with customers, suppliers and partners and with the environment and resources in our daily work, and it complements the Quality and Environmental Policy (QM02).
The Code applies to all employees of Amiprox GmbH and to everyone acting on our behalf. It is binding; we expect the same principles from our suppliers and distributors.
Our principles:
- Law and rules. We comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements and internal rules. When in doubt, we ask before we act.
- Respect and fair working conditions. We treat each other with respect. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or intimidation. Working hours, pay and leave follow the legal requirements; we reject child labour and forced labour without exception.
- Safety and health. We work in a way that keeps everyone safe: we follow the safety rules and instructions, use the protective equipment provided and report hazards, accidents and near misses immediately.
- Environment and resources. We use materials, energy and water sparingly, separate waste, dispose of chemicals properly and consider environmental impacts as early as purchasing, packaging and development.
- Quality and honest records. We work according to the approved SOPs and process descriptions. Records are complete, correct and made without delay; results are never embellished or changed afterwards. We report deviations instead of hiding them.
- Integrity and conflicts of interest. We take decisions in the interest of the company. Secondary employment, shareholdings or personal relationships that could lead to a conflict of interest are disclosed to the management.
- No corruption. We neither offer nor accept benefits that could improperly influence a business decision. Customary courtesies of low value are acceptable; anything beyond that is agreed with the management.
- Confidential information and data protection. We treat customer, supplier and company data as confidential and pass it on only to authorised persons. Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary and in line with the GDPR.
- Property and operating equipment. We handle equipment, materials, samples and IT systems with care and use them for business purposes.
- Suppliers and partners. We expect the same principles from our suppliers; they are set out bindingly in the Supplier Code of Conduct, which feeds into supplier selection and evaluation (QP06, QF08).
Violations and reporting
- Anyone who becomes aware of a violation of this Code contacts the management or the management representative.
- Reports may also be made anonymously and are treated confidentially.
- Anyone who reports in good faith need not fear any disadvantage.
- Confirmed violations are tracked in the continual improvement action register (QF12); depending on their severity they may have consequences under employment law.
The management is responsible for setting an example, making this Code known and monitoring compliance with it. Every employee is responsible for applying this Code in their daily work. It is communicated during onboarding and in the annual instruction sessions.
This Code of Conduct is displayed prominently in the company, handed out to all employees and made available to interested parties on request. It is kept up to date and adapted as necessary.
